Our goal was to keep the footprint of building structures on the farmland to the minimum and build structures mainly with natural materials while keeping the use of steel and cement to the minimum.
We wanted the housing to be eco-friendly. The walls of our building structures are mostly built with mud using the "Rammed Earth" method. The flooring uses "Red-Oxides" and the roofs have been made with "Mangalore tiles".
We plan on making future structures with stone, which is the naturally and more abundantly available material in the region. Also, we want to further optimize the use of steel, by using timber and bamboo from the land itself.
